“Ugly never looked So Good”
Ugly Man on Campus (UMOC) is a campus-wide
charity contest featuring a parody of a beauty pageant where guys and
girls (students or faculty) compete to raise money for charity. Contestants
do not actually need to be ugly. Funny or ugly or just plain crazy pictures
of each contestant will be displayed for people to "vote"
for them by making a donation.
For one week (October 27-October 31),
Alpha Phi Omega (APO) will staff a donation booth outside the union
with containers for each contestant labeled with their picture and biography
and charity name. Half of the money raised goes to the charity chosen
by the winner, and the other half goes to the charity chosen by APO.
